Assuming 1 is poor and 10 is great...I always enjoy staying at the Alexander, the value for money it offers is outstanding, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and bright, and the breakfast plentiful. Most of all the location is ideal.

I am assuming on your 1 to 10 scale that 10 is good! This was our fourth stay at the Hotel Alexander, and it was as good as ever, despite the sauna being out of action. This is an ideal very reasonably priced hotel for tourists who want to explore the main tourist areas in Krakow. The accommodation is comfortable and clean and the staff are always helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and there is a wide variety of food to choose from. I have recommended this hotel to several friends who have all enjoyed their stays there and commented on the good value this hotel represents.

Great service, staff was very helpful and courteous. The taxi service that they recommended was excellent- we got a driver named Richard who bent over backwards to drive us around and help us on a family research project. He was a gem! The hotel is in an excellent location, just 2 blocks off of the Rynek. It was out of the busy main area, so it was a little quieter. However, it was so close for easy access. It was also a 15-20 minute walk to the Wawel Castle. It was super close to the train station- maybe 15 zlotys (so, about $3.00 USD). All around great stay, would go back to again. We would maybe get 2 rooms next time as 3 people in 1 of the rooms was cramped! We did it to save some money, but it was cramped. So, I would recommend 2 rooms for visitors of 3 or more.
